Ethan’s flame is a site dedicated to helping families who, like us, are suffering the heartache of miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant death.  In creating this site my family hopes to reach and support as many families as possible who struggle on their path of healing after the loss of their child.  We would like to let bereaved parents know that they are not alone in their grief, there are many who share in their sorrow.

 

We hope to help you through your heartache by sharing Ethan’s story and his light.  It is our goal to give the gift of a handmade memorial candle to as many families as we can, to offer you light and inspiration in your darkest of moments.

 

Each candle is made especially for your family.  You may customize it with your angel’s name, date of birth and/or death, and a quote.  I have also selected a poem for the back of your candle.  If you have a favorite poem you’d like to use please include that information in your message.  If you have an original poem you’d like share and make available to other families, please let us know.

 

Please understand that this site and our project are in the early stages of development.  Your feedback is very much appreciated.

 

Through donations, we hope to provide a candle to fulfill every family’s candle request.

 

A few notes on the candles:

• These candles are meant for decoration and for use with a flameless battery-operated tea light.  Using a normal tea light will melt and destroy the outer memorial candle.  We learned this the hard way.

• The pillar candles we use are three inches in diameter and six inches tall.  (3” x 6”)

• Candles are sent to the physical mailing address entered in the request a candle form.

• At this time we are only able to ship to addresses within the United States.
